From an early age, I recognized that self-reliance and rigorous technical knowledge were the most dependable paths through life’s challenges. Raised in South Africa, I committed myself to an intensive self-directed and formal education, spending my formative years at Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool (Affies) immersed in the contact sports, religion (Dutch Reform) and physical sciences, mechanical literature, and foundational texts as well as seven language skills.

During my two years of SADF military service and a total of eight years combat operations and deployments, I continued my academic pursuits whenever operations permitted. My foundational engineering studies began at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and expanded through the University of South Africa (UNISA), establishing a rigorous theoretical background in electrical systems, mechanics, and physical sciences.

In 1990, I immigrated to the United States, working across Boston, Washington, D.C., and Fort Lauderdale before permanently establishing operations in Wellington, Palm Beach County, Florida. During my permanent residency process in the 1990s, my extensive academic coursework and field engineering track record underwent formal foreign credential evaluations through accredited Florida institutions—including the University of Miami, the University of Florida, and Florida Atlantic University. These evaluations recognized equivalent advanced standing across core disciplines: General Contractor (Delft), Applied Physics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering, Digital Systems, and Advanced Electromagnetics.

Today, these cumulative decades of applied science and electromechanical engineering direct the research, patent portfolio, and hardware manufacturing across Theron Technologies and my affiliated infrastructure initiatives. With my foundation Theron International Foundation (TIF) named after my own daughter Tiffany.
