The greatest honor I have had in this life was the privilege I’ve had with all these women and to have and hold and raise kids, and now grandkids.
- My first love was a Dutch girl named Lynette, I saved up and got her a ring, but we were too young.
- My second love was an English girl named Carol Fletcher, but life took off too fast, and I went to boarding school and the army.
- My third love was a Jewish girl named Rene Siebritz, but I was not Jewish. I was Afrikaans.
- My fourth love was a Portuguese girl named Lola, but she wanted Tom Selleck who lived down the street.
- My first family was with a Polish girl named Yvonne Yablonsky and her son. And we were engaged, but she was not faithful, so I packed up and left the country.
- My second family was with an English-Canadian woman, Linda, and her kids, Krystal and Jessica, and we made Tiffany, but she also was not faithful.
- I finally met MY ONE TRUE LOVE, MELODY. A Cherokee-Irish princess. My final and most loved, fulfilling family and marriage and amazing relationships anyone could wish for in one lifetime; with Melody and our children, Cody, Tiff, and Morgann, who gave birth to my grandson, Aidan.
What an incredible journey!
My footprints, scars, blood, sweat and tears, I gave it all I had and always tried to do my best to all of you.
Thank you for being part of my life. I hope I was the friend, lover, husband, dad, stepdad, grandpa, oupa that made a difference in your life – Cornelius Basson THERON
